David Letterman ran a top 10 list on ways to annoy an IRS agent. When it comes to dealing with an IRS agent you may want to do many of these things but if by any chance you end up running into John Carpenter, you should probably think twice.
John Carpenter, playing for the million on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. He was the first person to ever win and he did it without using any lifelines (except to call his Dad, which he did not need, play below and see). He is still the only person to ever win without using lifelines. John Carpenter is an IRS agent (revenue officer) and goes after individuals who have unpaid taxes for a living. You can tell his dry sense of humor which has probably been driven from years of IRS collections. This is one IRS agent that you probably would not be able to get the best of. This should make you think twice about annoying an IRS agent.
