JC Chasez in Tax Predicament, Owes $206K in Back Taxes

Share

JC Chasez, best known as one of the lead vocalists in the former pop group *NSYNC and now a judge for America’s Best Dance Crew, owes $206K in back taxes to the state of Mississippi. It is surprising that JC Chasez, a member of one of the hottest boy bands around is having financial difficulties. They were so popular, so it’s hard to believe that any of the members would have any financial worries.

Unfortunately, the tax lien filed against him is the outcome of a business dispute between *NSYNC and Mississippi over concert revenues. Because Chasez was the principal member of the band’s corporation (now non-existent), the lien was filed against him on October 15, 2009 in Madison Curcuit Court, and not against any of the other members.
