Share

Full House funny guy, Dave Coulier who played Joey Gladstone owes back taxes to both the state of California and to the IRS.

Dave Coulier is mostly known for his role in Full House, which aired on ABC from 1987 through 1995. After Full House, he struggled to find prominent roles in television and film. He briefly was a part of The Surreal Life and Skating with Celebrities, Animal Kidding and America’s Most Talented Kid.

He also toured the US doing stand up comedy. Possibly the most prestigious thing that happened to him since Full house was that Alanis Morissette allegedly wrote the hit song, “You Oughta Know”, about their broken relationship.

Full HouseQuote (Joey and Michelle):

Joey Gladstone: It sounds like Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky just want some privacy.
Michelle Tanner: What’s privacy? What are they doing in there?
Joey Gladstone: They’re, uh… they’re doing their taxes.
Michelle Tanner: Are they going to do their taxes every night?
Joey Gladstone: For the first couple of months.
Too bad Dave Coulier didn’t spend more time doing his taxes…

According to The Detroit News, Coulier owes the following in back taxes:

State: $11,793
Federal: $37,063
Total: $48,856
Coulier is actually one of many celebrities to recently have run ins with the IRS for owing back taxes.
