According to The Detroit News, records indicate that Patti Labelle owes more than $337K in federal back taxes.
Patty LaBelle is an African-American R&B and soul singer-songwriter and actress. LaBelle earned a #1 single in 1986 with “On My Own.” She is also known for her zealous onstage performances and her large vocal range. LaBelle has won a pair of Grammy Awards and has been nominated for several others.
The IRS has filed a tax lien against laBelle on August 31st with the state of New York in the amount of $337,104.
